Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift attended comedy show where proceeds donated to Gaza

The Shake It Off popstar, 33, wore her signature red lip as she left the Brooklyn Academy of Music after comedian Ramy Youssef’s show on December 8.

Youssef, born in the Big Apple to Egyptian parents, announced on November 12 that all proceeds from the last 12 nights of his More Feelings tour would go to the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA).

The comedian – who has been vocal about calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East – said the charity works to ‘provide humanitarian relief to the people of Gaza.’

Gigi Hadid, a friend of Swift’s whose father is Palestinian, commented: ‘Legend.’

The charity says it has ‘has no political or religious affiliation.’

Taylor Swift has kept silent on the unfolding war between Israel and terrorist group Hamas – who murdered and kidnapped hundreds of Israelis on October 7. In the weeks following, thousands of people have been killed in Gaza.
