SAN ANTONIO SCOUTING REPORTThe San Antonio Spurs’ primary attraction this season has been standout rookie Victor Wembanyama. Wembanyama is the first rookie since Blake Griffin (2010-11) to average 20-plus points (20.7 PPG) and 10-plus rebounds (10.3 RPG) and the first rookie since Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93) to record at least 300 total combined steals and blocks. The Spurs are 3-0 this week, most recently defeating the New York Knicks behind 40 points and 20 rebounds from Wembanyama.
