NBC News reported that singer Thank U, Next and Dalton Gomez received a divorce judgment from the Los Angeles Superior Court (USA) on March 19, after 6 months of filing. They ended their nearly 3-year marriage peacefully, without disputes because they signed a prenuptial contract and had no children.
The court resolved the divorce quickly because the terms were agreed upon by both parties in October 2023. The reason they went their separate ways was because they couldn’t reconcile differences in lifestyle.

According to the agreement, the pop star, who owns a fortune of 250 million USD , will pay 1.25 million USD to her ex-husband with the condition of no future alimony. The singer also agreed to split half the proceeds from the sale of the Los Angeles house to Gomez, and also pay him $25,000 in attorney fees.
Grande and Gomez met in early 2020. They confirmed their love through the MV Stuck With U , which the singer collaborated on with Justin Bieber in May of that year. In December 2020, the duo got engaged and half a year later, they secretly held a wedding ceremony.
Page Six confirmed that the two broke up in July 2023. At that time, this source said: “They decided to divorce together. They had problems at the beginning of the year, but still wanted to see each other as friends.”
Not long after the breakup, Grande was caught up in rumors of falling in love with co-star Ethan Slater while filming Wicked. The two had emotional gestures when having dinner with their families in New York. In early March, the singer attracted attention when he released the album Eternal Sunshine , inspired by his broken marriage with Gomez.
Meanwhile, Dalton Gomez started dating again. He publicly posted intimate photos taken with actress Maika Monroe in Mexico in February.
