Facing Barca in the 2024 Spanish Super Cup final this morning, Vinicius had the match of his life when he scored a hat-trick against the Blaugrana after just 39 minutes. The above achievement helped the Brazilian star become the Real player with the fastest hat-trick in the history of El Clasico matches since 1951.
And after scoring the first goal in the 7th minute, the 23-year-old striker celebrated in the iconic style of Cristiano Ronaldo, former Real Madrid striker from 2009 to 2018. Interestingly, this morning’s final was held at Al-Awwal Park, home of Al-Nassr Club, the team Ronaldo is playing.
After the match, Vinicius explained the reason for his celebration to ESPN.
” That celebration is a gift I give to Ronaldo , he is my idol,” said the player born in 2000. “I am very happy with what I did today. Beating Barca has never been easy and winning them 4-1 was great.”
Excited with Vinicius’ performance, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez had many good words for the Brazilian player.
“Vinicius could have scored more than 3 goals today,” Perez said. “He always shines, he always tries his best to practice and this is a worthy result. He is one of the best players in the world right now.”
