English has long become a commonly used language globally. However, for many years now, there is a language that is becoming extremely popular, rising to a position of popularity second only to English. Can you guess which country’s language it is?
The answer is Chinese, also known as Chinese. Currently, there are over 100 Chinese language centers spread across our country specializing in teaching Chinese and disseminating cultural knowledge of this most populous country in the world.
China’s current population is 1,417,499,052 people as of December 26, 2018 according to the latest data from the United Nations. So in short, there are more than 1.41 billion people in the world who speak Chinese. That is not to mention the number of Chinese people living and working in other countries around the world, most of which are in Vietnam.
The current population of Asian countries is 4,521,081,416 people, which means that more than 1/4 of the Asian population uses Chinese as their mother tongue. And that number increases many times if compared worldwide. Enough to see that Chinese is really being used extremely commonly around the globe. Chinese is gradually becoming a commonly used language globally.
Recently, many students are sharing stories about how idols’ names are translated into Chinese. It is known that these horse-translated names come from a friend named Le Duc – a US-UK music enthusiast, ensuring that anyone reading it will have to curl their tongue seven times to be able to read it.
“Click your tongue 7 times” to read the artist’s name translated into Chinese. After reading it, I forgot the name of the original artist.
