The lake is as beautiful as in a fairy tale, hidden in the heart of the Sahara desert

The Ubari Lakes range includes about 20 lakes located between towering sand dunes and oases surrounded by the Ubari sand sea

Ubari Oasis is located in the Targa valley, between the Messak Sattafat plateau and the Idhan Ubari dunes.

Among the lakes in Ubari, the most beautiful are Gaberoun and Umm al-Maa lakes

Lake Gaberoun has the clear blue beauty of a lake located inside sand dunes decorated with palm trees, their shadows reflecting on the calm water surface and the ruins of ancient villages.

However, thanks to the water source from underground rivers, the amount of water in the lake almost never dries up

Known as the most beautiful lake in the Middle East, the water here is not drinkable because the water in the lake has a salt concentration as high as the water in the Dead Sea.

In addition, the lake water in Ubari also contains some impurities that are not good for the human body, so it is recommended that visitors should not swim and drink water here.

Thanks to its unique location and rich flora, this place is praised as picturesque and reminds people of ancient Arabic stories.
