Fans in Portland on Sunday night were witnesses to an NBA rarity: a game in which Steph Curry did not make a three-point attempt.
Coming into the game, Curry had hit at least one three in 268 straight games, an NBA record. But despite the Dubs getting the win over the rebuilding Blazers squad, Steph could not get one to fall from distance, going 0-for-8 and finishing with just seven points. The NBA looked a whole lot different the last time Curry failed to make a three-pointer, and it would take three years for another player to break the two-time MVP’s now-established mark. That said, Golden State picked up a win, something that has not been easy to come by in the Bay Area this season, so we’re guessing Curry was happy to make that trade-off.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Speaking of unbreakable records, Curry will be the NBA’s all-time three-point king for the foreseeable future. So with that in mind, how many of the top 25 career three-point shooters in NBA history can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
