The Only Murders In The Building actress, 31 – who returned to Instagram one day earlier following a break amid the Israel-Gaza war – was seen stopping by Amsterdam Billiards for a fun night out in the Big Apple.
The star donned a black turtleneck sweater tucked into the waist of her black skirt to stay warm in the cooler fall temperatures.
She added a pair of sheer, black tights and also opted for closed-toed, black pumps to complete her overall look for the evening.
The former Disney channel star layered the ensemble with a long, black leather coat that she later wrapped tightly around herself while making her way along a crowded sidewalk.
Her dark locks were pulled back into a messy bun, allowing a few loose strands to border the left side of her face.
Selena opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a pair of mini silver earrings.
The Rare Beauty founder was seen strolling along a street in Manhattan as she headed to the pool hall.
The star’s outing comes just one day after she returned to Instagram after previously announcing that she would be taking a break away from the app amid the Israel-Gaza war.
In celebration of the return, she jumped to her Instagram stories while posing inside a Texas-inspired restaurant called, Moo’s Craft Barbeque, located in Los Angeles.
Gomez was possibly filming her hit series, Selena + Chef, and struck a pose as she leaned forward on a counter inside the eatery.
She sported a reddish-colored ensemble with an apron on top, and was joined by the owners, Michelle and Andrew Munoz. The trio paused for a memorable photo together as Selena held a large tray of food.
Not long after sharing the content to her stories, the Single Soon hitmaker was seen stepping out in NYC on Wednesday to watch the Knicks vs Spurs game at Madison Square Garden.
Late last month in October, Selena revealed to her fans and followers that she intended to take a break from social media and explained that she was ‘sick’ in regards to ‘innocent people getting hurt.’
She wrote, ‘I’ve been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all of the horror, hate, violence and terror that’s going on in the world.’
‘People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any one group is horrific. We need to protect ALL people, especially children and stop that violence for good. I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag.’
Gomez concluded, ‘I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t. Love, Selena.’
The singer also uploaded a black and white photo of her younger sister, adding, ‘Having a sister, everyday has made me tragically sick. I would do anything for children and innocent lives.’
Earlier this year in February, the actress previously took a break from social media amid drama surrounding her ex Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber.
At the time, she stated on TikTok, ‘I’m very happy, I’m so blessed, I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn’t be happier.’
‘I’m good. I love the way I am I don’t care, I’m big, I’m not, I don’t care. I love who I am. And yeah, I’m gonna be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly.’
She admitted, ‘And I’m 30, I’m too old for this…but I love you guys so much! And I will see you guys sooner than later, I just…I’m just gonna take a break from everything.’
She also told Vanity Fair earlier this year on the topic of social media that, ‘People can call me ugly or stupid and I’m like, whatever. But these people get detailed.’
‘They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety…I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a waste of my time,’ Gomez revealed.
The actress explained that she felt TikTok was ‘less hostile’ adding, ‘There are wonderful things about social media – connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories.’
‘But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging.’
