Endrick has quickly emerged over the past year at Palmeiras. The young Brazilian attracted the attention of Real Madrid, who activated a €60 million release clause in his contract last December.
Endrick is set to complete a move to the Santiago Bernabeu next summer, but he is already having fun at the highest level with Brazil. The 17-year-old made his international debut when the Selecao faced Colombia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Recently, Endrick admitted that he likes Real Madrid legend Ronaldo more than Messi. The Palmeiras star said at a press conference: “About Messi, he is a phenomenon. The best in the world.”
“I just want to enjoy the moment of playing with him, being in the same stadium as him, seeing him up close, I’ve only seen him in video games. Messi is a great player great, but I’m more of a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo.”
However, Endrick does not consider Ronaldo the greatest player of all time: “Pele is the King. There is no one who can come close to him. There is no one who can compare. I thank God that he has exist.”
