Over the past few days, Stephen Curry has organized his annual summer basketball camp in San Francisco, California called ‘Curry Camp’, gathering bright young players from across the United States.
In addition, this is also the “stage” for Chef Curry to introduce his newest basketball shoes: Curry Flow 11.
Curry Flow 11 is the 4th product since Stephen Curry officially owned his own sports brand called Curry Brand.
This is a brand belonging to the Under Armor sportswear manufacturing group. The Warriors’ “head chef” will be completely proactive in designing and researching products to best suit their own playing conditions.
Details of this shoe model have not yet been disclosed. However, through the posted images, it can be seen that the shoe’s upper body is combined with breathable mesh on the side panels and nubuck overlays running along the eyelets.
The trademark flow pad will continue to be used on the Curry 11 similar to its three predecessors. Comfort and safety will be top priorities for Steph Curry’s shoe lines as the player has a history of extensive ankle injuries.
In March, Under Armor announced they had reached a new contract extension agreement with Curry.
The brand also announced that Curry has been named president of his Curry UA brand, where the “Chief Chef” will provide insight into product development as well as marketing and sales efforts long-term future strategy of the brand.
Curry Flow 11 is expected to launch this fall and will likely create a craze among music enthusiasts around the globe.
